GLASGOW is spoilt for choice when it comes to live music and 2020 is shaping up to be the best year.
Here are my top picks of some of the shows you have to see this year.

Glasgow Times:

Harry styles at the Hydro

There is already a buzz surrounding the former One Direction's new solo album Fine Line and I think 2020 is going to be his year.
A viral clip of him performing with Stevie Nicks and a cover of Lizzo's Juice has elevated Harry into the cool list.
He plays the Hydro on April 26.

Glasgow Times:

Gerry Cinnamon at Hampden Park

Our hometown boy is playing his biggest show to date at Hampden Park.
Castlemilk raised Gerry Cinnamon is bound to go from strength to strength with the release of his second album The Bonny in the Spring.
With two albums worth of material to perform to his hometown crowd, this gig on July 18 will be one to remember.

Glasgow Times:

Diana Ross at the Hydro

Legends don't often tour which is why you have to see them when they come to Glasgow.
From The Supremes to her solo career, Diana Ross has created a lifetime of music for her fans to treasure.
Imagine hearing the likes of Upside Down, Stop! In The Name of Love and Chain Reaction live?
She plays the Hydro on July 4.

Glasgow Times:

Dionne Warwick at the Royal Concert Hall

From one legend to another, singer Dionne Warwick is touring for the last time.
I saw her at the city's Armadillo a few years ago and it was an amazing night. She tells stories, sings the classic and shows off her vocals which are simply timeless.
She plays her Glasgow show on September 22.

Glasgow Times:

Elton John at the Hydro

Most people bought tickets for this show last year as Elton told fans that this was his final tour.
With the success of the movie Rocketman, Elton had been introduced to a new audience - and is more popular than ever.
He plays the Hydro on November 24 and 25.

Glasgow Times:

Celine Dion at the Hydro

Who would have thought Glasgow was so lucky to get Celine back again?
The songstress is touring with her new album Courage and promises to perform her greatest hits too.
Live you will rarely hear a voice as good as Celine's.
Catch her Hydro shows on September 11 and 12.

Glasgow Times:

Texas at the Hydro

Glasgow's very own rockers Texas will celebrate their debut album Southside which is now 30 years old at the Hydro.
The band performed the album in full plus their greatest hits at SWG3 this month.
But demand was so high for the show that they have decided to take it to the Hydro.
With Sharleen Spiteri singing some of the greatest pop-rock songs to her hometown, you won't want to miss this show on October 17.
