Crabshakk has come number one in the Glasgow restaurant rankings for this month.
The gourmet Argyle Street spot has come number one in our monthly rating of local restaurants.
Speaking to the Glasgow Times, the restaurant’s assistant manager said she was delighted to hear the news.
She said: “It’s so lovely to be top of the list and and it’s great to be loved by the people of Glasgow and I hope they continue to love us forever more.”
The Finnieston favourite is a new entry to the Glasgow Times’ league and has shot straight to number one.
Since opening in February 2009, the restaurant has sought to bring sophisticated and fresh seafood meals to Glasgow diners.
Most popular with first-dates and graduating students from nearby Glasgow University, the restaurant recently welcomed its most famous visitors.
Victoria and David Beckham popped in while they were in town to enjoy mussels in a white wine sauce and fish and chips with tartare sauce.
The famous couple took to Instagram to praise the West End eatery.
