A HUGE cannabis cultivation worth tens of thousands of pounds has been discovered in the South Side.
Officers on routine patrols in Govanhill made the seizure on Allison Street on Monday morning.
A teenager has been arrested in connection with the discovery – which amounted to 100 plants with an estimated street value of £40,000.
He was due to appear in court today.

Images posted by the force show the extent of the cultivation within the property.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with alleged drug offences.
“While on routine enquiries, at around 10.25am on Monday, January 6, officers discovered a cannabis cultivation in Allison Street in Govanhill.
“More than 100 plants were seized with an estimated street value of £40,000.
“The 19-year-old is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday.”
