A LUXURY dairy-free ice cream is set to hit stores across Glasgow in celebration of ‘Veganuary’.
Scottish ice-cream maker Equi’s has unveiled its Strawberry vegan treat, which will be stocked in 25 independent retailers across the city.
The creation is made in Scotland using coconut oil as an alternative to traditional dairy, resulting in a smooth texture perfect for those going vegan.
The new product is now available in 120ml grab and go pots for £1.50 from independent Convenience Stores such as Spar, Costcutter and Nisa across Glasgow and Lanarkshire.
The new plant-based flavour will also be on the vegan menus at every Tony Macaroni restaurant.
Chris Law, head of sales and marketing at Equi said: “We are extremely experimental here at Equi’s and love creating new products and flavours for ice cream lovers to enjoy.”
