Emergency services were rushed to the south of Glasgow after two vehicles were involved in a crash on Monday. 

The incident on Nitshill Road occurred at 17.45pm and resulted in the closure of a lane and traffic delays. 

Scottish Fire and Rescue services and Police Scotland were called to the scene. 

The two vehicles, an Audi and a Mazda, have been recovered from the scene and the crash only resulted in minor injuries.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "We were called at 17.45 to reports of a two vehicle crash.

"Nitshill Road was closed at Peat Road. The cars involved were an Audi and a Mazda.

"An ambulance was called to attend - it looks like it's minor injuries."
