Storm Brendan has hit the UK, bringing torrential rain and gusts of up to 80mph across the country.
In Glasgow, ScotRail have announced via Twitter that due overhead line damage Between Brassarie and Ayr, the Glasgow Central - Ayr route will be affected in both directions. The services will terminate and start back from Killwinning, with replacement busses connecting with trains between Ayr and Kilwinning.

Air-bound passengers at Gatwick will also be affected by the storm, as seven flights so far coming into the West Sussex airport have been diverted to other locations across the UK. This comes after 40mph gales struck the area last night.
Gatwick Airport said two Wizz Air flights, four easyJet services and one Norwegian Air flight were diverted. One easyJet flight from Edinburgh was forced to land at Birmingham.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning until midnight tonight meanwhile forecasters have said that the 60mph-70mph winds could continue to batter the West of Scotland until Tuesday.
