A man has been assaulted outside of the Union Street entrance to Glasgow Central Station this afternoon.
He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary with a facial injury.
Police were called to the scene at around 5.05pm and the entrance on Union Street was cordoned off.
Officers remain at the scene of the incident.

A police spokeswoman said: "Officers were called to Union Street, outside Glasgow Central Station, at around 5.05pm today after a man was assaulted.
"The man has been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary with a facial injury.
"Inquiries are ongoing and officers remain at the scene."
