A POPULAR retailer will open up in Royal Exchange Square in the coming weeks.

Size? said they have a targeted opening for their new Glasgow city centre store  for late January/early February.

The sportswear specialist, part of the JD Sports Group, has signed a new 10-year lease to occupy a prominent corner retail unit on the north side of Royal Exchange Square close to the junction with Buchanan Street.

The shop was previously occupied by LK Bennett.

Size? said their store will stock a wide range of footwear from leading brands like Nike, adidas, ASICS, Reebok, Vans and Converse, and clothing from labels like Carhartt WIP, Stussy,The North Face, HUF and Patagonia.

Peter Hutton, Head of Retail and Occupier Services for Cushman & Wakefield in Scotland, acted for the landlord in the letting.

He said: “This is fantastic news for Royal Exchange Square which welcomed The Ivy in July and cult fitness brand Lululemon in October.

"Size? is a great example of a retailer which offers an engaging hands-on shopping experience for customers and I have no doubt it will be a great success in this core retail and leisure location.”

Established in 2000, Size? has stores in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Spain.
