A specialist police marine unit has been drafted in during a search for a woman who vanished from a Glasgow hospital more than a week ago.

Concerns are continuing to grow over the welfare of Karen Murphy, who went missing from Gartnavel Hospital on Great Western Road on Monday, January 13.

She was later spotted leaving Renton train station near Dumbarton around an hour later.

"I would ask members of the public who were using the roads in and around Renton on Monday, 13 January to check their vehicle dashcam footage for possible sightings."
