A woman has died after a fire at a block of flats in East Kilbride.
Emergency crews worked throughout the night to extinguish the blaze at Sadlers Wells Court.
The alarm was first raised at around 10.30pm and five fire crews were initially in attendance.
The body of a 65-year-old woman was recovered from a property within the block, and a joint investigation between the police and fire service is now underway to determine the cause of the fire.

Two appliances remain on the scene this morning.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Police were called to reports of a fire at a property in Sadlers Wells Court in East Kilbride at around 10.30pm on Thursday, January 23.
"The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and the body of a 65-year-old woman was recovered from the property.
"A post-mortem will take place in due course to establish the cause of death.
"A joint investigation with the Scottish Fire and Rescue will be held to establish the exact cause of the fire."
