Celtic's foundation have made a £5000 donation to the Australian Red Cross to help battle the bushfires crisis.
The charity claims it is the first donation by any football club and hopes it will help in the aftermath of the disaster, which has affected millions of plants, wildlife and communities across Eastern Australia.
It comes nine years after a previous donation which the club made in 2011, after the bushfires in the state of Victoria.

Celtic’s Chief Executive, Peter Lawwell, said: “We are delighted that we can make a contribution to the ongoing recovery works taking place in Australia.
“It’s been devastating to watch people’s lives being turned upside down in recent months and we hope that the people affected by this disaster can get back on their feet very soon.”
