A MAN has died after being hit by a train in Glasgow's South Side.
The tragedy occurred on Sunday morning and he was pronounced dead at the scene at Muirend Station.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
British Transport Police added that a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
It comes after we reported yesterday that services on the line were cancelled while emergency services were at the scene.

A British Transport Police spokesman said: “At 9.15 am on Sunday, January 26, officers were called to Muirend station following a report of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended, however, a man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene – his family have been informed.
"This incident is not currently being treated as suspicious and a report will be made to the Procurator Fiscal.”
