A GLASGOW school is planning a tribute for an 11-year-old pupil who died after suffering an acute asthma attack.
Summar Dabudabu, from Dalmarnock, who was a pupil at Glasgow Gaelic School, died in hospital after becoming unwell due to the lung condition.
Earlier this month pupils were asked to create a design for a memorial bench for Summar, who was described as “a lovely girl” by the headteacher of the Berkeley Street school after her death in June, last year.

More than £600 was raised by pupils for Asthma UK in December.
A spokeswoman for the school said: “Once we have the bench design finalised and the bench is complete we will have little service and invite the parents and family to come along.”
A report from Asthma UK, published last year, found that deaths from asthma attacks have increased by more than 33% over the last ten years and called for the NHS to “prioritise” services.
