A pedestrian has been left needing hospital treatment after being struck by a car in Hamilton.
Emergency services were called to Low Waters Road just before 4.30pm this afternoon following the incident.
Nearby residents on a local community group on Facebook claim the pedestrian was a "young girl", however this has not been confirmed.

The road was closed for some time while emergency crews dealt with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called at around 4.25pm following reports of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian on Low Waters Road in Hamilton.
"Emergency services attended and a pedestrian was taken to Wishaw General Hospital.
"Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
"The road was temporarily closed but has since been re-opened."
