A man has been arrested following the 'unexplained' death of a woman in Renfrewshire.
Emergency services were called to Abbot Street in Paisley on Saturday evening where they found the 27-year-old unconscious in a flat.
Paramedics attended but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene, as our sister title The Gazette reports.

The cause of her death is not yet known, but police confirmed a man, also 27, has been arrested.
A force spokeswoman said: “At around 6.20pm on Saturday, February 1, police received a report a 27-year-old woman was found unconscious at a flat in Abbot Street, Paisley.
“Emergency services attended and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the death.
“A 27-year-old man has been arrested.”
