A teenager has been left in hospital after a disturbance in the South Side of Glasgow.

Police were called to Cathcart Road at around 2pm yesterday amid reports of an incident.

Locals claim to have seen a "huge police presence" in the area near to Crosshill Station.

They added a "crowd of kids" had gathered at the taped off area.

Initial suggestions on social media claimed that someone may have been stabbed, however Glasgow Times understands this is not thought to have been the case.
