It remains the place to go for simple cooking with clever ingredients. Regularly cited by hospitality staff and chefs as their favourite restaurant.

2 Cafe Gandolfi (New Entry)

Renew your relationship with one of the city's favourites. Part of a long tradition of Glasgow cafes. Now with an interesting small plate menu available in the bar upstairs.

3 Kilmurry & Co (new entry)

4 Eusebi Deli (New Entry)

The local breakfast club take over the terrace seats in the morning at Park Road.
Order the cacio pepe royale. Giovanna Eusebi proudly carries on the culinary tradition started by her grandfather at this outstanding local cafe and deli.
5 Bo & Birdy (Down Four)

One of the most stylish dining rooms in the city, on the ground floor of the Blythswood Square Hotel. They've had a strong start to the year.
Favourite dishes from Gillian Mathews' menu include St Andrews Farmhouse cheddar macaroni cheese or tea-smoked Gressingham duck breast. Set to be a popular choice for Valentine's Day dinner.
6. Tart and Lobster (New Entry)

Lobster is the star attraction, served Newburg with cognac and cream, Thermidor with white wine and mustard or Kiev with garlic and herb butter. Tart creations include warm confit duck and fig with brie. The restaurant at Glasgow Hilton hotel has undergone a complete refurbishment

10 Eighty Eight (Down 7)

A compact menu of sharing dishes that changes daily depending on what produce is available. Head Chef Robbie Morrow says: “The style of cooking is very simple, fresh, clean and seasonal". Proving to be a hit on Dumbarton Road.
