Glasgow City Council has told motorists to expect "significant delays" this weekend due to the closure of St Vincent Place at George Square.
The city centre road will be closed at the junction with George Square from tomorrow until Tuesday next week.
The council says it is for "essential gas main improvement works".

The road will be open for local access only between West Nile Street and George Square.
The council has warned the works, which will take a total of five days will cause significant delays and will get worse at peak times.
