Reckless boy racers crashed last night on a busy South Side street, narrowly missing a ground-floor flat.
A white car was seen on the pavement just two feet away from a ground-floor flat's window.
Four cars were involved in the Kilmarnock Road crash, three black and one white.
A witness to the crash said the thoughtless driver of one of the black cars crashed into the white car, which spun onto the pavement and into other nearby parked motors.
The driver then reportedly fled the scene, racing down Kilmarnock Road.
Police attended the scene and diverted traffic away from the road.

Residents took to Facebook to complain that the crash was typical of boy racers in the area, with reports of dangerous speeding on Deanston Drive, Tantallon Road and Holmlea Road.
One resident said: "This was bound to happen. The driver must have ran up our street because we seen someone chase someone after a loud bang, all the way up the street then down the hill, shouting at them etc.
"There needs to be proper speed monitoring here this is getting beyond a joke now!"
Witnesses also reported hearing dance music still playing from the boy racer's car.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "Police were called around 10.30pm last night, following a report of a road crash involving four vehicles on Kilmarnock Road in Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended but there is no reports of any injuries. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the crash."
