Police were called to Dalziel Street, Hamilton
A man has been arrested following the death of a pensioner in Lanarkshire.
Emergency services were called to a property in Dalziel Street in Hamilton after the alarm was raised at around 4.30pm yesterday.
Police say the woman, 75, was found dead and a man has been arrested.

A force spokeswoman said: "A 35-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of a 75-year-old woman in Dalziel Street, Hamilton.
"The incident was reported around 4.30pm on Sunday, February 9.
"Enquiries remain ongoing."
