Comedian Kevin Bridges has thrown his weight behind Kiltwalk 2020, urging people to sign-up to raise cash charity.
In a video recorded on his mobile phone, the Scots funnyman, who has 1.3 million followers on Twitter, says he’s “cutting aboot” his Glasgow home, joking that he is using his position as “a social media influencer” to convince fans to do a good deed.
Kevin, from Clydebank, said: “The Kiltwalk is back for 2020… get on a kilt, go for a walk and raise money for a cause that you feel strongly about.
"And the best bit is that Sir Tom Hunter, the man whose generosity knows no bounds, will top up your total fundraised by 50%.
“Get your kilt, go for a walk, get some endorphins, serotonin and vitamin D… all in the name of a good cause.”

Last year’s Kiltwalk saw 25,000 walkers raise £5 million for charity, with an extra £2 million raised through the 40% top-up from The Hunter Foundation - meaning £7m was raised for 1302 charities across Scotland.
Chief Executive of Kiltwalk, Paul Cooney, said: “Kevin is one of the UK’s biggest stars, and we are incredibly grateful that he’s supporting the Kiltwalk again.
"Over 1300 charities benefited from the Kiltwalk in 2019, and Sir Tom’s 50% top-up on all fundraising is going to ensure that we help more charities than ever before this year.
“Please take Kevin’s advice - get your kilt on – or a bit of tartan - and sign up for one of our four walks this year.”
The four Kiltwalk events kick off with Glasgow on Sunday, April 26, Aberdeen on June 7, St Andrews to Dundee on August 16 and Edinburgh on September 13.
Each walk has three distances to choose from to suit people of all ages and abilities.
In Glasgow there is the 23-mile Mighty Stride, the 14-mile Big Stroll and the 6-mile Wee Wander.
