Vile homophobic graffitti has appeared on the front doors of one of the city's most popular LGBT venues.

The horrid remarks, including "poofs out", appear to have emerged on the door of Polo Lounge overnight.

A worker took to Twitter to share their devastation over the vile remarks.

He said: "Stood here for 15 years. I'm heart broken. I told folk things were getting worse."

People responded to the post sharing their anger and disgust.

One person said: "Why has this happened ? Hope everyone from @PoloGlasgow is ok... have you reported this to @policescotland @G1GROUP?"

While another added: "This fills me with such rage."

It is unknown if the club have contacted the police over the homophobic graffitti abuse.
