THE body of missing woman Karen Murphy has been recovered.
Police previously appealed to the public to help find the 53-year-old after she was last seen on January 13.
It was confirmed that she had links in the West Dunbartonshire area.
Ms Murphy's body was recovered from the River Leven, near Dumbarton, on Sunday, February 9.
Formal identification took place and Ms Murphy's family have been informed.
Inspector Graeme Hogg from Dumbarton Police Station said: "Our thoughts continue to be with Karen's family and friends as they come to terms with this news and we have officers providing them with assistance at this difficult time.
"There are no apparent suspicious circumstances surrounding her death and a report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal."
