Castlemilk born Gary Lamont will be joining the cast of Outlander's fifth season, it has been announced.
The ex River City star and former Glasgow Times columnist will join the drama TV series which premiers this Sunday on Starz in the United States.
UK viewers will be able to watch the season five premiere episode on Monday, 17 February on Amazon Prime Video.
Lamont took to Twitter to share the announcement.

The fifth season will be largely based on the fifth book in the Outlander novel series, The Fiery Cross, with sixth season based on the sixth book, A Breath of Snow and Ashes.
Lamont will be starring beside Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe, Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin.
