People are being encouraged to dig out their running shoes to take part in the first ever 'Nite Lite' run.

The run in the dark event will take place at Drumpellier Country Park in Coatbridge on Friday, 27 March.

It’s a six mile course, which starts and finishes next to the visitor centre. The route runs from Lochend Loch (within the park), past the crannog and along the woodland trail.

Head torches are mandatory and will be provided to all runners as part of the entry fee, which is £20.00.

Entrants must be aged 16 years and over.

Registration is at 6.40pm and the event starts at 7.00pm – all finishers will receive a unique medal.

Entry numbers are strictly limited, so don't miss out on this unique opportunity.
