Glasgow Times:

The animal welfare charity is now appealing for information to trace the person responsible.

Scottish SPCA inspector Lara Vickery said, “The black and white kitten was tied in a plastic bag inside two other tied bags.

“Thank goodness the passer-by spotted him at the side of the road. He was found at around 9pm on the evening of 12 February.

“The member of the public then handed the kitten to Vets Now in Anderston, Glasgow in the morning.

“He appears to be around 12 weeks old and was found to have an old injury to his front right leg.

“Apart from this, he seems to be in good health.

“It seems that the person that dumped the kitten did not intend for him to be found. Thankfully he was.

“We would like to find the person or persons responsible for dumping the young cat in this way.

If anyone recognises him or has any information, SPCA is urging you to contact their confidential animal helpline on 03000 999 999.”
