TWO teenage boys were robbed of their belongings at the weekend.

Police in Clydebank are appealing for witnesses following the incident that took place between Longden Street and Low Crescent, Whitecrook.

At around 10pm on Friday, February 14, a man approached both boys before assaulting them and stealing their mobile phone and other personal belongings.

The suspect is described as around 6ft tall, sallow skin, dark hair, wearing baggy trousers.

Detective Constable Robert Struthers, of Clydebank CID, said: “This was an unprovoked attack on two young boys. I am appealing to anyone in the local community who may have information which will assist our investigation.

“I particularly want to speak to a man and woman who were out walking their dog in this area. I believe they may have witnessed the incident so I’m appealing for them to contact us.”
