A TERRIFIED homeowner was glassed inside his home during an early morning robbery bid.
The gang forced their way into his property on Orchard Street, Renfrew, at around 1am on Saturday.
The four men threatened the 34-year-old man during the raid, demanding property and money, as our sister paper, the Gazette, reports.

The gang eventually left empty-handed, although it is understood they made off with some takeaway food.
The victim was rushed to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, in Paisley, for treatment, where he remains.
A 37-year-old man also hurt during the incident and suffered minor injuries.
Police are asking anyone with information to call them on 101.
