A THUG left his brother scarred for life after the pair watched a Celtic and Rangers game on TV.
John Jefferson slashed Stephen Jefferson after the victim insisted he did not want to fight his sibling.
The attack happened at a house in Glasgow's Pollok last December 29.
The pair had been with friends watching the Parkhead match which Rangers won 2-1.
Glasgow Sheriff Court heard Jefferson's partner Charlene Elliott was also there.
Stephen at one point tried to talk to her as she went outside.
Raging Jefferson then stormed up to his brother.
Prosecutor Claire Wallace told the hearing: “Words were exchanged and Jefferson said: ‘You aren’t speaking to her like that.’
“Stephen pushed Jefferson away and said he didn’t want to fight.
“Jefferson had a knife and then struck Stephen to his left cheek.”
The attacker was immediately ordered out the house.
