Hoops legend Jackie McNamara is believed to be recovering well after he collapsed with a bleed on the brain last week.
The former Celtic defender collapsed outside his house in England last Monday where he was rushed to hospital in York and transferred to Hull Royal Infirmary where he underwent surgery.
Jackie's daughter has shared her father's progress post-operation, saying that he is recovering well but he still has a long way to go.
She said: "Thank you for the continued support for my Dad, the past week has been so overwhelming for us as a family.
"He is making progress but still has a long road to recovery.
"We are so thankful for all the care he’s received and remain positive.
"Erin."
