WINNING scratch cards, a bag and cash were among items stolen during a break-in at a home last week.

Callous thieves stole wads of foreign currency, winning scratch cards and a tapestry bag from a Milngavie home.

Police are hunting for suspects and have put out a call for shopkeepers in the wealthy Glasgow suburb to keep a lookout for people trying to change foreign money or looking to cash in a large number of winning scratch cards.
