Small dog owners in the south side should be extra careful when walking their dogs in Pollok Country Park, as SEPA issues a flood warning for half the green.
Scottish Environment Protection Agency warned last weekend that the city and neighbouring parts is set for heavy and persistent rain, making for miserable skies and hampered driving conditions.
SEPA wrote online:
"Following a prolonged period of heavy rainfall, flooding in and around the Police dog compound at Pollok Country Park, The Sawmill at Pollok House, Pollok Estates and Castle Golf Course is possible.
"Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property."
The flood warning will be in force until further notice, and the public should expect longer journey times as the roads become flooded, and delays or cancellations to public transport services.
