THE SEC Armadillo has confirmed funnyman Gary:Tank Commander will be returning to star in another pantomime this year.
Back by popular demand, Corporal Gary McLintoch, portrayed by Greg McHugh, will bring his comedy quality to the stage for the family panto Aladdin from Saturday, December 12.
Gary made his SEC panto debut in 2017 in Jack in the Beanstalk, and starred in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Armadillo last year.
Now, Scotland’s best-loved Corporal will star as Gary Twankey, Aladdin’s brother.
Speaking on his casting, Gary said: “Guess wit, am so excited tae be back at the SEC in Aladdin.
“It’s gonnae be brilliant. There’s gonnae be a lamp, and a carpet, and a genie, and me, obviously, and that’s all yas need right, so I’ll see yees later!”
SEC’s James Graham added: “We are delighted that Gary is returning to the Scottish Event Campus this year to lead the cast in Scotland’s biggest pantomime.
“His hilarious comedy is always a winner with audiences...this year’s show is bound to have everyone laughing in the aisles”.
