ROMA and AC Milan checked in on Borna Barisic as the Croatian helped Rangers reach the last 16 of the Europa League.
The Serie A giants have both been tracking Barisic in recent months and had scouts at the Estadio Municipal on Wednesday to watch the left-back in action once again.
Boss Steven Gerrard was open about the interest in Barisic from Roma during the January transfer window and Rangers moved quickly to tie the 27-year-old down to an extended Ibrox deal.
The former Osijek star is now contracted to Rangers until the summer of 2024 but that is unlikely to deter potential suitors come the summer window.
Barisic has firmly established himself for club and country this season as he has become a mainstay of Gerrard's side and those performances have continued to attract admiring glances from the continent.
