A man bravely took on two men accused of raiding his home and stealing thousands of pounds worth of goods, all of which he has now recovered.

Earlier today, the Dennistoun man - who does not wish to be named - tracked down the two suspects after they turned on an iPad they are accused of stealing in a mid-day home invasion.

The 30-year-old tracked down the alleged thieves to the location they had activated the device - across the road from Shettleston Police Station.

He says he took them on and asked them to return what they had stolen - items including an iPad, clothes and a pair of Yeezys.

He claims they had donned the pair of designer trainer, which sell for upwards of £1000.

He reportedly took back the laptop, only to be told by the other man "I've just sold that for five bags."

He has now recovered all the stolen items.

The man was upstairs in his Craigpark home at the time of the "raid" when he heard noises from downstairs.

After he was confident the alleged invaders had left, he contacted the police.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "We were called at around 12:50pm to a theft from a property on Craigpark in Dennistoun.

"Enquiries are continuing."
