Two teenage boys have been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder in the city centre.
The incident took place on Argyle Street at its junction with Jamaica Street at around 7.50pm on Saturday evening.
The two boys, both aged 16, are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court tomorrow.
Detective Inspector Iain Nelson, from Glasgow City Centre CID, said: "I would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter.
"Officers are continuing to follow other positive lines of enquiry to establish the full circumstances leading up to this assault and trace those involved."
