Police officers were rushed to an address in Maryhill today after they received reports of a disturbance.
It is understood a police minibus and another vehicle with a metal battering ram were called to Shiskine Drive.
Graeme MacIntyre, from Maryhill, told the Glasgow Times: "I seen about eight or so officers rush into the flats.
"There was a van full of them and they had a huge red ram which I think they were going to use to bring the door down so I thought it must have been a drug bust."
Another local said: "I've heard it's been a drug bust on the fourth floor.
"There was a car with a ram but they cleared off after a short while."
Police Scotland confirmed that they were called to a disturbance however when they arrived circumstances were "quiet".
A spokesman said: "Police were made aware of a disturbance in Maryhill later on in the afternoon.
Everything was quiet upon arrival."
