A PERSON has been struck by a train between Barrhead and Kennishead.
ScotRail confirmed the news on Twitter.
British Transport Police are responding to the incident near Priesthil and Darnley station.
The operator said: "Sadly, a person has been struck by a train between Barrhead and Kennishead."
Services between Barrhead and Kennishead have been resumed but trains will not stop at Priesthill and Darnley.
Replacement buses are still in place.

A spokeswoman for the British Transport Police said: "We were called to an incident shortly before 3.30pm to reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"We are in the process of responding with paramedics."
