Three people have been stabbed outside a bookmakers in Partick.

Emergency crews descended on the Betfred shop on Dumbarton Road shortly before 9pm last night.

The three victims were rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Forensics teams could be seen scouring outside the Betfred bookies on Dumbarton Road in the early hours of this morning.

Footage shared on social media Nicky Taylor show a large police and ambulance presence at around 9.30pm last night.

Police tape can still be seen cordoning off the area in front of the shop.

A tarpaulin sheet can also be seen covering what is thought to be a smashed door.

Nicky Taylor first posted: "Looks like the bookies have been robbed in Partick, hope they are ok".

But later added: "Don't think it got robbed though ,think it was a stabbing."

A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed to the Glasgow Times: "Police were called at around 8.45pm on Wednesday following reports that three people have been stabbed on Dumbarton Road in Glasgow.

"Three people were taken to the Queen Eizabeth University Hospital with serious and life-threatening injuries. 

"Enquiries are ongoing any anyone with information is urged to contact police via 101 quoting incident number 3847".
