Inverness have confirmed that a player who was placed in self-isolation last week has not tested positive for COVID-19.
The unnamed player was taken out of the squad and did not train with teammates on Friday over fears of the deadly coronavirus outbreak spreading through the Highland club.
Now, though, the club have revealed that the player has returned to training after it was definitively proven he did not have the virus. The statement read: "The club can confirm that the player that went into isolation last week does not have COVID-19 and is returning to training this week with the rest of the squad.
"No players, staff or coaches at ICTFC are in isolation."
The news comes as the SPFL and SFA cancelled all fixtures in Scotland for the foreseeable future in line with the majority of leagues around world football.
