THE RNLI is scaled back its interactions with the public in Rhyl following the Coronavirus outbreak.
While the charity's all weather and inshore lifeboats will remain operation, the station on the East Parade has closed its doors to visitors.
A spokesperson for Rhyl RNLI said: "Due to the Coronavirus Covid-19 situation in the UK, our operations management team have taken the decision to suspend all public visits to the station and community engagement events, for the interests of the health and safety of the public and our volunteers.
"We will be happy to rearrange all station visits currently booked, to a later date.
"Our station shop will also be closed until further notice.
"We would like to reassure our supporters and the local community that Rhyl's all-weather and inshore lifeboats will remain fully operational, and our volunteers will remain on call ready to save lives at sea and along the coast."
It is unknown at this stage to whether this policy will still be in force by the time of the annual Harbour Race in June.
