During rush hour, Glasgow's M8 is usually chockablocked as folk flock into the centre for work, school and studies.

This morning has told a completely different story.

As confirmed cases of COVID-19 increase across the country, more of us are making the decision to work from home, self-isolate and generally avoid being in public.

We told yesterday how our streets are becoming increasingly bare as the government advises us to stay indoors - and people are listening.

The First Minister confirmed at 2pm yesterday afternoon that there are 57 positive cases of coronavirus confirmed in Glasgow, with a total of 227 across Scotland, sadly resulting in three deaths.
