Celtic anthem You'll Never Walk Alone is to be blasted over the radio waves across Europe tomorrow morning as DJs attempt to provide unity in a time of uncertainty.
The deadly outbreak of coronavirus has swept the globe and continues to take lives and affect vulnerable people all around the world. And, in a bid to bring everyone together, Dutch DJ Sander Hoogendoorn came up with the plan to blare the Gerry and the Pacemakers tune across countless radio channels - with plenty other people signing their station up.
Additionally, the Hoops have announced that the club will play the famous song at Parkhead on Friday at 7:45am - but urged fans NOT to turn up at Celtic Park.
Instead, they will broadcast the rendition live on their social media platforms - allowing supporters from all over the world to tune in.
IDEETJE: zullen we aanstaande vrijdag 08:45 met alle ochtendshows van nederland “you’ll never walk alone” draaien? @NPORadio2 is in! wie nog meer? #youllneverwalkalone #radio @jeroenkidv pic.twitter.com/swhcHrZ3c9

Hoogendoorn said: "We all have to do what we can to beat this crisis. Things like this just go beyond the boundaries of radio channels. That's why I thought: why don't all radio morning shows play the same song at the same time?
"You'll Never Walk Alone would be our choice as it could speak to those doing an incredible job working in health care right now, those who are ill or those who can't leave their house for a while."

BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2 are among the UK stations who have already agreed to play the music as well as other channels from the likes of Netherlands, Austria, Belgium and Spain.
The tune will be played, UK time, at 7:45am tomorrow morning, March 20.
