TWO teenagers were robbed at knife-point by thugs in a daylight raid.
The 15-year-olds were pounced on by two unknown men outside Gianni’s Chip Shop, in Bishopbriggs, at around 5.55pm yesterday.
The suspects are understood to have threatened the boys with blades in Auchinairn Road as they tried to nab bikes from the youngsters.
One of the boys managed to recover his bike and neither were hurt during the shocking incident.
Police have now launched a manhunt for the crooks and are appealing for the public's help.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.55pm on Thursday, 19 March, 2020, police received a report that two 15-year-old boys had their bikes stolen on Auchinairn Road, Bishopbriggs, by two male suspects.
"One of the boys was able to recover his bike during which he was threatened with a weapon. Neither of the boys were injured in the incident. Enquiries are ongoing."
