POLICE are today hunting thugs who hurled bricks at a house in Greenock late last night then set part of it on fire.
Officers are appealing for witnesses after a ‘targeted attack’ in Broadford Terrace. Stones and bricks were thrown at the house at around 11pm before the front porch was set on fire by the attackers.

The man who stays there was able to escape uninjured after extinguishing the fire and calling emergency services.
Police say they are keen to speak to anyone in the area who may have seen suspicious activity, such as individuals or vehicles around the property or the street.
Information should be passed to officers by calling 101.
