GLASGOW restaurants have begun boarding up their premises in the city centre as the country goes into lockdown for three weeks.
Pictures taken from Miller Street show popular pizza restaurant Paesano has boarded up their premises.
The Spanish Butcher has followed suit on the same street.
It comes after it was announced last night that the country would go into lockdown for three weeks.
New rules mean you can:
Leave your home to shop for basic necessities or medical need, Downing Street have said you should do this "as infrequently as possible" and use food delivery services "where you can"
Leave your home to care for a vulnerable person
Excercise outside once a day - including walk, run or cycle
Travel to and from work, but only if this is "absolutely necessary" and cannot be done from home
Attend a funeral if you are immediate family
