A MAN has appeared in court in connection with the death of William Campbell in Springburn.
Ray Currie, 43, of Glasgow, has been charged with murder following the death of the 37-year-old in Elmvale Street on Tuesday.
Mr Currie is also charged with two counts of having a blade or similar item in a public place.
He was also charged with assault during his appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.
He made no plea and was committed for further examination.
He was remanded in custody and is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court within eight days.
