A body has been found in the search for a missing young woman in Glasgow.

Emily Hope, 22, was reported missing on Saturday, February 22 after vanishing from the Mango nightclub on Sauchiehall Street.

A marine unit was drafted in to help with the search, and officers have today confirmed a body was found at the River Clyde this morning.

The discovery was made near to the SSE Hydro at around 9.50am.

While formal identification is yet to take place, Emily Hope's family have been informed.

A spokesperson for the force added: "There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
