PEOPLE at a Llandudno care home have been targeted by criminals.
Despite lockdown being in place, North Wales Police have received reports of a female seeking to gain entry to unattended cars near Tan-Y-Fron Extra Care on Tuesday, March 31.
Residents are being urged to make sure they lock their cars, even if it's only for 'a couple of minutes', and also check that all the doors are definitely locked when using a remote locking device. Also, it is advised not to leave anything on display including identity documents such as credit cards, passports or driving licenses.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "We have had reports of a female trying door handles of vehicles.
"Two reports so far from Tan Y Fron in Llandudno.
"Criminals are still trying to steal your valuables. Don't make it easy for them."
Anyone who witnesses suspicious activity around vehicles can call the police on 101, or on 999 if a crime is in progress.
