The COP26 climate summit due to be take place in Glasgow at the end of the year has been cancelled due to the coronavirus crisis.
Finland's Environmental Minister Krista Mikkonen shared the news via Twitter, saying it was the "right decision" but work must continue.
A Tweet reads: "UN climate change conference #COP26 in Glasgow has been postponed due to #COVID-19.
"Right decision, but work must continue.
"EU must lead the way and update its 2030 NDC as soon as possible."

President of COP26 Alok Sharma confirmed that due to the unprecedented global challenge, the event would not be going ahead.
He said: "The world is facing an unprecedented global challenge and countries are rightly focusing on fighting #COVID-19.
"Due to this #COP26 has been postponed.
"We will continue working with partners to deliver the ambition needed to tackle the climate crisis and agree a new date."

More than 200 world leaders were expected to attend the event alongside 30,000 delegates with the goal of decreasing greenhouse gases across the globe in the coming decade.
